1st PC Build

"Actually this isn't my first computer I have built, but is the first one I built for myself."

I have wanted to build my own computer for some years now but never had the place in my house to put it. I didn't want to replace our other computer we had that was our family computer. This computer was going to be mine and mine alone.

So after years of waiting my sister finally got married and moved out I would move into her room so I finally had a place a new computer.

I had purchased a computer desk and TV/monitor to begin with other parts would be purchased at a later date, because I was in the middle of college and didn't have time to build my computer.

All in all the day finally came when I purchased all the necessary parts for my new computer and began to build. I would also like to mention that I'm glad it took awhile for me to finally build my computer.

Many technologies in the CPU (processor) came and went.

Here pictured above, are all the parts that arrived in the mail for my computer.

Empty computer case

Computer case with power supply installed

Here the motherboard is seated inside the case and is fastened down into place by tiny screws. Also the video card is installed onto the board.

Another picture of the installed motherboard. The hard drive tray is at the top of the photo.

Here pictured is the hard drive tray. I drew arrows to tell me which way to insert the harddrives.

This concludes the building of my new computer. I can say that I installed the OS and everything is working smoothly.
